Capacity and Suitability
How many people can use the hot tubs?
According to the manufacturer's guidelines, the Helsinki hot tub can accommodate up to 7 adults, the Hollywood hot tub up to 6 adults, and the Cancun up to 4 adults.
Can children use the hot tubs?
Children are not recommended, but under strict supervision, the decision is at the discretion of the hirer. Children under 14 years old must not have the temperature set above 37°C. Children must take breaks of at least 15-20 minutes and stay hydrated. The hot tub cover must be secured between uses to prevent unsupervised use. Banham Hot Tub Rental cannot accept liability for any injury, illness or death of hot tub users.
Payments and Pricing
How do I pay for the hot tub rental?
You can either pay a deposit or the full amount to secure your booking. Payments can be made by BACS, with the remaining balance paid by BACS before delivery or in cash on arrival. Full payment is required prior to the hot tub being set up.
What are the running costs?
The manufacturer has provided a guide to running costs, which vary depending on usage and weather conditions. Costs range from £8.31 to £28.77 per week, with potential savings of up to 40% using a thermal cover.
Delivery and Setup
How long does delivery and setup take?
Setup times can vary depending on factors like parking, access, and the area being prepared. Generally, just the hot tub takes 10-15 minutes, while a hot tub with a gazebo can take 15-30 minutes.
How long does it take to fill and heat the hot tub?
Filling time depends on water pressure and can take 1-3 hours, comparable to filling 6 bathtubs. Heating time can be 15-25 hours, so we deliver the hot tub at least a day before your booking to allow for heating. You must turn on the heat as soon as it's filled.
To speed up heating, you can fill directly from a hot tap, but the water temperature must not exceed 40°C.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
How do you clean the hot tubs between uses?
After every hire, our hot tubs are jet washed, sanitized with an antibacterial detergent, and stored inflated to dry. Each new hirer receives a brand new filter and the necessary chemicals to maintain water quality.
What should I do if there's a problem with the pump?
Common error codes and their solutions are provided, including resetting the pump. If the issue persists or is different, you can call or text our team for assistance.
How do I keep the water clean?
It's essential that users follow guidelines to maintain water cleanliness, such as showering before use, avoiding heavy makeup/products, and cleaning the filter regularly. Failure to do so can lead to water issues and the need to empty and refill the hot tub.

Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery is free within 15 miles, with charges ranging from £25 to £50 for greater distances.
What should I prepare before delivery?
Ensure you have a clear walkway, a level 3x3m area, access to water and electricity (including an appropriate extension lead if needed), and an adult present to sign the hire agreement.
Can I use the hot tub if I have a medical condition?
If you are pregnant or have any medical condition, you must consult your GP before use. Banham Hot Tub Rental operates a 'if in doubt, the answer is no' policy to prioritise customer safety.
